I did a very stupid thing...

I have been talking to my ex boyfriend on a text message. The one that cheated on me. He apologized to me and he wants us to get back together. When he asked me to get back together, I didn’t answer. I starting crying because....I don’t know. Parts of me still likes him but I don’t know how he will act.
Of course I didn’t tell my best friends about it because I know they’re going to scold at me for talking to my ex boyfriend. My family would call me out too.

Why and how did he cheat on you? It can be a sign of if he'll repeat the behaviour.

@CountScrofula Well everyone including my best friends was trying to tell me that he was cheating on me and I wouldn’t listen to them. I did hear a girls voice in the backround but I thought it was mom. My best friends keep telling me that he’s cheating any to break up with him and I yelled at them. Even my dad and siblings said that he’s no good for me and I need to break up with him. And then he ended up telling me the truth and it broke my heart so bad and they were right about him. And I didn’t see the other girl he said he also dumped me because I was too agreeable annoying and a kiss ass. He didn’t want a kiss ass for a girlfriend.

@LaylaTheTallGirl Uh yeah. He's a piece of shit. I get that you are grieving the good times you had with him - everyone can get an urge to go back to a bad relationship.

But he clearly did not care about you and that won't magically change.

Imagine someone else tells you what you just told me. What advice would you give them? Stay the hell away from this guy he will use and discard you as many times as you let him.

@CountScrofula yeah he was mean but he sounds very genuine and sorry and he said he was done with that girl for good and he wants me back. I didn’t tell my best friends on my family because I know they’re gonna call me out and criticize me.
