@Elevatorpitches Sadly I've seen some mothers play the martyr role very well. I was lucky in that I had a good Mother, despite some failings and that I could never share my true nature with her, I still loved her as she was very supportive of me in other ways, I consider myself lucky!

@DragonFruit I've always been gay but never told her, she never saw me with a girlfriend or a woman so I think she must have known or wondered. i was having sex with older Men even as a teenager. Mom was too proper to ever discuss sex or sexuality openly with.
