What's something you hid from your Mom till the day she died?

Did you hide something about yourself from your Mother, thinking she never knew? Maybe she always knew and chose to ignore it?

she saw that I had "changed" and was horrified at that... but I changed to be the kind of person who could get through this world..better than before.

She didn't agree. I felt like there was no choice. She thought I did it to be a monster.

@Elevatorpitches You did what you felt you had to do and no one, not even your Mom can fault you for that. We all make choices in life, good or bad and have to live with the choices we make. I sincerely hope you reconciled at some point and she was able to accept your choices in life!
@spjennifer no she went down as a mother of a monster. My sibs were more monstrous than me in most ways...
@Elevatorpitches thanks for the sympathy heh

anyway the film "Witness" is online free..watching it now. so great!

@Elevatorpitches Sadly I've seen some mothers play the martyr role very well. I was lucky in that I had a good Mother, despite some failings and that I could never share my true nature with her, I still loved her as she was very supportive of me in other ways, I consider myself lucky!
@spjennifer oh she was extremely supportive..but that didn't stop my monster-hood.
