What's something you hid from your Mom till the day she died?

Did you hide something about yourself from your Mother, thinking she never knew? Maybe she always knew and chose to ignore it?

My mum is still alive and I've never told her certain things about myself.

@NankerPhelge Mine passed away 20 years ago now, but have to wonder that she never figured it out or just chose to ignore it? Moms are usually pretty intuitive...

@NankerPhelge Meaning they usually figured stuff out about you before you even knew yourself.

@spjennifer I'm sorry to hear you lost your mum. I lost my dad 16 years ago this month. I've kept certain secrets from both my parents up to now.

@NankerPhelge Typo, lol. Mom would be 96 now, she had me, her 4th when she was 37 so not unexpected, she didn't have an easy life.

@spjennifer My mum is still alive at 84, and her mother lived to 104. That gives us all hope, doesn't it?

@NankerPhelge Wow, 104 is awesome, i can't fathom living to be that old! One of my neighbours is 87 and goes ballroom dancing every week, she is something else!

@spjennifer Maybe she will live beyond 100 as well. It's becoming increasingly common. Vera Lynn is 103 now and she shot another calf this morning. She wanted veal meat again.

@NankerPhelge "Does anybody here remember Vera Lynn, remember how she said that we would meet again, some sunny day?" 😀
NankerPhelge · 61-69, M
@spjennifer I know the song, I just made a joke based on it. Lol :)
