If you want less hate, try fewer insults.

🤦‍♂️

It's pretty hypocritical to claim you're tired of people spreading hate but you throw insults at anyone who disagrees with you. It might not seem like much, but it all contributes to an atmosphere of hate. If you want to understand someone who disagrees with you, stop with the insults. Because that just says right away that you don't view the other person as an equal.

To me it looks like an inability to see any other side, which makes me wonder what they're afraid of.

But I certainly understand what you're getting at. Most people don't listen, they're just waiting for their opportunity to speak. If you have that attitude, then you'll miss a lot of what the world and your fellow humans have to offer.

I never see you do that actually, but don't be too high and mighty, everyone has off days and this place does push people, give some slack once in a while.
Then there are the ones who do it for sport, which I don't like.

@HannahSky I'm sure that I've insulted someone before. I'm not saying I'm perfect. I'm talking more about the people who claim to be sick of all the negativity and the hate but contribute to it themselves. This post was inspired by someone saying they were sick of hate and saying "fuck you" to people in the same sentence. It just seemed very hypocritical. I know people get pushed to insult sometimes and that's understandable. But if you really want to end the negativity, you have to at least try to make an effort. I'm just not a fan of rude behavior.
