Do you believe in climate change?

The most recent study indicates that the actual average global temperature has increased 1 degree Celsius over the last century. Of that 0.01% is likely caused by mankind. So mankind is possibly responsible for 1/100 of a degree over 100 years. Seems that cosmic rays have a much greater effect on global temperature than mankind.
I think it’s the biggest con ever pulled..
Not one single prediction or projection has come to pass..
yet heaven forbid if you question the climate cult and the costs attached..
It’s wealth redistribution and you all know it.. some of us are just to proud to admit we were sucked in ..

Ps. All the ‘if we don’t act now’ bullshit. Is cringeworthy..
Instead of wheeling out a Congo line of celebrities to talk down at us like they’re all from Yale, with the same script each time..
why don’t they ever wheel out facts?

@hippyjoe1955 gee, h7nters want to kill things. My point on the cause still stands.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@GoldenWorm Nope. You need to understand the motives. The bears are a real danger to humans.
Would you believe the agriculture research service ? Part of the US department of Ag?
@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout
redredred · M
I believe there is nothing so changing as climate; it is the very picture of unpredictable randomness. I think its painfully laughablevto hear humans claim credit for changing the climate. We are ants on an elephant.
Pherick · 41-45, M
@hippyjoe1955 Shhhh adults were talking. When I need a moron to say something, I will let you know.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@Pherick Too bad you sit at the kids table eh? Too funny! You think your drivel is adult? Sophomoric nitwittery better describes your nonsense.
Pherick · 41-45, M
@hippyjoe1955
Sophomoric nitwittery
ohhh? Someone got a word of the day calendar for their birthday???

My "drivel" is just a response to your amazing ability to lower the combined IQ of any conversation you join.
GoldenWorm · 51-55, M
Do you believe in gravity?

Because the relevant experts put it on par with humans causing global climate change.
GoldenWorm · 51-55, M
@hippyjoe1955 yes, actual scientists. That rules out Koch bro funded hacks and relionionists
wildbill83 · 36-40, M
@GoldenWorm "relevant experts". So, anyone who disagrees, like scientists at the Max Planck Institute for Solar System Research in Gottingen, Germany, who propose that increased solar activity is to blame... are what? irrelevant?
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@wildbill83 Yeah what do the folks at the Max Planck Institute know. Al Gore says otherwise.
🙄, which “study”? Paid for and published by whom?
Where is it published?
Provide the journal and edition, or post the link. Don’t throw numbers without something to back it up

I have a cue of abstracts that say otherwise.

Please look at PNAS

and the ARS/US govt.
The entity that is having its studies buried by Sonny Perdue.

Jesus can’t fix ignorance.
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
@Texasgurl He provided it earlier. It was never published or peer reviewed, and exhibits strong fundamental problems.
Of course!@QuixoticSoul
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
Awww look at that, hippie sticking his head in the sand again.
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
@hippyjoe1955 We have not discussed any of my beliefs in this particular conversation. We generally don't. Most of our interactions involve me dismantling your pathetic attempts at reasoning and finding new ways to call you an idiot. We rarely need to discuss anything I personally believe.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@QuixoticSoul You have made your beliefs front and centre on all these discussions.
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
@hippyjoe1955 Nope 🤷‍♂️

Seriously, they're always centered around how retarded you're being in any particular moment. Which is usually at some previously unheard of epic level.

@eli1601 Wasn't referring to you when I was posting about numpties believing in AGW.
eli1601 · 70-79, M
@hippyjoe1955 I know. That's why I deleted my response

climatology is still a relatively new science, and many (along with leftist media) are trying to make long term assumptions based on limited data (20-30 years or so). They like to come up with possible causes, and completely ignore the probable/likely causes...

Truth of the matter is, for years of dramatic climate climate, there's always a major natural event preceding them; whether it be varying solar activity, major volcanic eruptions, or a dozen other things that can severely impact weather.

Given that historical records and witness accounts of such occurrences pre-date the industrial revolution by hundreds or even thousands of years, any logical sane mind should come to the same conclusion...

That man made climate change is complete and utter horse shit...

I was a skeptic until everyone started cashing in on it. That’s when you know what’s really happening.
GwydionFrost · 56-60, M
Do I believe a dynamic system is dynamic?
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@GwydionFrost Very true. It has been hotter and it has been colder without the input of man or beef cattle. Strange how that works.

It’s called “the weather”

global warming I do believe. But it is all was warming or cooling down. There is good signs that Florida was twice as big. Also been completely flooded. But all the countries have this kind of change at one time or another
curiousaboy · 26-30, M
But we feel temperature increases more than 1 celsius,
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@curiousaboy We can feel it over a short period of time but can not feel or remember it over a long period of time unless it was truly unique. 1934 when the farmers planted their crops in March instead of May was memorable. That same year having such a heavy frost that the crops were all ruined in July was also memorable.
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
@curiousaboy Global averages projected over years are different than local events.
FreestyleArt · 31-35, M
I don't believe in them.
