So... I made a promise to my doctor, that I will stop drinking alcohol completely, when I hit 43.

Apparently having cancer should be enough. A complete liver failure wouldn't be that much to brag about. Well, tomorrow, the 2nd, I'm going to keep that promise.

I couldn't have done up it without AA. I have been sober 25 yrs

@ZonkeyBalls well good luck then

@Summersrain It wasn't criticism, merely an insight to myself.

@ZonkeyBalls I know that, but dysfunction is the cause of the addiction. The two are intertwined

Good luck, I recently lost a relative to cirrhosis of the liver from a lifetime of drinking. It was a very painful way to go.

@curiosi Yeah, my sister told me two days ago, that my eyes' whites are actually yellow. Not a good sign.

Well done. Good on you.
Have you other things to do to fill the void?
Do your family/friends support you?
ZonkeyBalls · 46-50, M
@Gusman They do and since I'm about to become a criminal mastermind, there will be no rest, until I have my own Learjet to travel across the world with.

It can be done. More power to you..
Good luck on your quest.
