I Can't Sleep

There is an annoying booming vibration like that of a truck engine or power generator that's been going on and on and on for A WHOPPING HOUR NOW.
Before this, a maddening high pitched sound wouldn't stop bothering me.
And all this time, my neighbors have been watching a SOAP OPERA.
Can't even get some snooze around here.
I'm gonna go get myself some Oreo's.
