That is it.

Today is a final binge day where I'm eating whatever I want. Tomorrow I'm going down to 500 calories or less and starting an exercise regimen. I'm putting my foot down hard this time. No room for error.

Very bad plan. Hard to stick to.

@FutureIdol yes. It starts with your muscles and then moves on to organs. People with anorexia often die from their hearts giving up as their bodies consume that muscle too.

Your brain is the last thing to go. Your blood sugar plummets Thinking is harder when you're malnourished. It makes spontaneous recovery less likely because you can't have insights if your brain doesn't work.

@Doomflower I didn't know it ate your heart. Maybe that's why I have problems with palpitations.

@FutureIdol wouldn't shock me.

@LaCalaca I used to go walking everyday and pre covid I was going to the gym. However it's cold now so I don't walk anymore.

Total recipe for disaster.

I know - I did it.

This is just gonna train your body into economy mode - and make losing weight even harder. 🤦‍♀️

@FutureIdol it is almost impossible. Please let me know if you're a genetic freak who bulks up easily so we can study you.
@FutureIdol there's more than one type of muscle development.

Some build for bulk (low reps -high weight).... Which is usually low value muscle.

The other way is to tone.

Callisthenics is a good place to start.
It works mostly on core muscles.
And you don't need special equipment.

Any weight exercise that uses High reps with low weight, tones and refines... Strengthens muscle fibres without tons of bulk - and burns calories....

Even things like yoga is good.

It refines form, is wonderful for flexibility and balance, but also strengthens your body (and mind 🙏)

@OogieBoogie Oh I thought that no matter what weights you lifted you would just bulk up and get giant. I didn't know there was different kinds.
If you want to lose weight - the simplest thing i can suggest (Coz it is a hugely complex biochemical thing).... Is basically this:

Fast one day (fluids only)
Eat normal the next.

If you reduce your food Intake - after a while your body goes "Oooh - I better conserve energy"... so it slows your metabolism - and makes it even harder to lose weight.

If you keep changing how you eat every 2 - 3 days..... The body doesn't acclimatise.

There is also the 5:2 diet that many have had success with.

And it's actually more a lifetime eating plan than a diet. Which is better 😊

Good luck 👍
