I Want to Tell You Something

I told one of my resource teachers today that if our generation and further up keep trying to make teens be more of adults, then soon enough there won't even be a "teenager" anymore. There could possibly not even be kids anymore either, considering they're also being made to do things most of us never had to do. I think everyone has a right to childhood. It's always okay to be taught new things, but teens and children should still get to be kids. Instead we might just teach them to be adults and only adults. Which I find sad since we believe there should be innocence, yet even that might disappear down the road. And it will soon enough if we keep going like this.

I agree. Kids need to always be kids. They deserve that.
