Because if the animal is too sick to recover or is in constant pain and unlikely to survive, it's better to end its life and ease that suffering.

@DearAmbellina2113 I know but it’s just cruel. I’ve heard about it but my friends and I were like 13 or 14 when we were told that. The vet said it’s the hardest thing they have to do but it’s life and sometimes you have to make a heartbreaking choice and life isn’t all rainbows and she thought we can handle that what she told us since we’re teenagers.

@AutismGirl18 kids should learn about death as early as possible because it can come at any age.

@DearAmbellina2113 Yeah that’s true. My dad said their job is to not make kids feel better but to prepare them for the hardships of life.
