I Used to Get the Cane At School

When I was at school there was regularly a queue of boys and girls (mostly 4th, 5th and 6th forms) waiting to be caned for smoking. I was in the queue, along with a few friends, a few times myself.

It was similar at my school and my wife's school. We were both caned for smoking more than once. I reckon there were more canings for smoking than for all other offences put together.
