I Am A Strict Mom

Well hello everyone this is my first post here and I figure I should say hi in a most appropriate group.

I recently decided to send my kids to private religious schools and the turn around in their behavior and attitudes has been tremendous. The only issue of course was the fight to get them into their uniforms. They still do not like the uniforms and it's an ongoing fight but I do think they are learning they won't win this battle.

I think the uniforms are smart and emphasizes that they are there to learn not to show off for their peers. I am hoping next year it will be less of a struggle!

Your girls did not like the uniforms? Why not? How did you manage to get them to wear them?

@Mugin16: They thought the uniform was "old fashioned" or "ugly" or even "not my style". They also hated that they'd have to wear it every day. I got them to wear it because well what would you guess happens to a girl who defies her mom?

@Kathryn05: I guess they would have to lift up their skirts and bend over for the paddle.
