I Am A Strict Mom

Well hello everyone this is my first post here and I figure I should say hi in a most appropriate group.

I recently decided to send my kids to private religious schools and the turn around in their behavior and attitudes has been tremendous. The only issue of course was the fight to get them into their uniforms. They still do not like the uniforms and it's an ongoing fight but I do think they are learning they won't win this battle.

I think the uniforms are smart and emphasizes that they are there to learn not to show off for their peers. I am hoping next year it will be less of a struggle!

I hated my school uniform. I never liked looking like all the other girls.

@BeckyStone: Oh I was the same way when I was a girl. Used to feel like we were all in some military unit or something. Of course now I understand how valuable the uniform was for helping me focus on what was important.
@Kathryn05: It helped us focus and today I think that the uniform was pretty. My daughters had uniforms too.

@BeckyStone: I never figure the uniform was pretty but it did help and my girls wear one now. I will say they do look smart in it
@Kathryn05: When I see myself I think I was pretty in the uniform.
