@Pherick: I have not faced that yet -- but my assumption is that as adults living in my home they would not want to be get the childish punishments which were appropriate when they were children so they would either straighten up and not act like children or find the door. They would only have three options.

My bigger hope is that I will raised them well enough the issue will not come up at all!!!

@beckychandler: That was how it was for me Becky the rules were clear as were the consequences. So when I was a young woman my choices were behave and follow the rules and get a rent-free place to stay, or disobey like a child and be punished like one or option three was to leave via the door and live on my own.
