Do you have annoying co-workers?

What would you do?

As you may know, my job sucks. Two more of the people in my department have quit. It leaves just myself and one other co-worker in one room that we have. This co-worker who I have to sit right next to, is always complaining and signing out loud 'it's so quiet in here, it's so quiet. " And I think to myself am I supposed to be talking to myself?. Like I'm in here if you want you can talk to me. I'm not going to try and make conversation just because you're scared of Silence. The other two people who quit last week where her buddies, her cheerleaders, they will talk Non-Stop about absolutely nothing and gossip all day long. I'm glad they're gone.

So what would you do? Try to make conversation with this person or keep it to a minimum and limit your conversation with this person because, when the others were there, they would talk around you almost as if you weren't there.
