Was it a bad idea to lie to my boss?

Yet he is oddly shocked to find that I hate my job and that there’s nothing he can do to fix it. Shame he isn’t a self-aware POS 🤦‍♂️@Starcrossed

I appreciate the humor. I’m just a firm believer that an employer doesn’t need to be my buddy and know the details of my personal life, too. I already see the people for 50-60 hours a week, that’s enough sharing. @Budwick

Generally speaking I’d agree, but the question was personal in nature and kind of not work’s business. The whole “my coworkers don’t know I’m married and my wife doesn’t know I have a job” thing, if you know that joke/reference. @Timeforsun
