If you knew you was working with materials that you thought didn't meet various standards.. Would you still use them if your employer supplied them?

No. I would say it is illegal for an employer to use unsafe materials

@Scarfface 😦 chuck them at your boss lol

@Gangstress I might do that on Monday when my spirits are low, might get the week off then 😂

@Scarfface haha 😂

depends on the construction.. I work High Pressure Boiler and gas Plants, so there it would be no go.. close to if not a crime to use sub standart material

@Inquisator its more of a functional issue rather than a safety issue. I'd love to post specifics but I'm paranoid my employer can see past my scarf and find my identity

Various standards seems like a big category. But if safety or integrity were involved, I'd have to refuse.

@hlpflwthat it is a big category as I don't want to post specifics. I'll get back to you if I get the sack because of said materials, lol

If the materials aren't up to the job and you use them knowing that, does that make you liable for any problems that arise ?
In other words. Is there a chance your company would hang you out to dry rather than admit liability because of their choice in materials used ?

Might be worth getting some advice on that.
Hell no, aerospace industry is insanely strict
