Habita advocati diaboli...

While outside the mainstream maybe of contemporary western thought sometimes (leaning instead to what the Catholic Church teaches - and has always taught - so sometimes that seems 'controversial' in an unhealthy world), I wouldn't say on the whole I have very controversial opinions.

I do have the annoying habit, however, of arguing the exact opposite of whomever I am speaking/writing to thinks, just for the sake of it.

Don't think it's a strategy for keeping friends long term, somehow
