No. after leaving religion behind life became easier. The video has a valid question: If religion makes you happy, why are you so sad? This may or may not apply to you, it did to me (and many others on this message forum) and leaving religion behind didn't instantly make me happy but things got better without another set of rules binding my actions, a set of rules which said if I do wrong I'm a sinner but if I do something right it was god. Doesn't work for me.
