South vs North? (In the US)

Which is better? How do the mannerisms differ? People, and whatnot?
Where are the rude people at? (North)

in general, people in the south prefer a bit more spice to food, they tend to be a little frendlier in general, and move a little slower. they can also be annoying in a 'well, I just kinda adopted you effectively, so now I can put my nose all in your business' sorta way. I'd say the south tends to hold onto traditions a little stronger than the north.

@AkAtSUki all good stuff. although for food trivia, chicago is the only major us city to be named for a food/spice.
