Have you been in love, how did you experience it

Lots of different definitions out there exploring what love looks and feels like, is it the most powerful human emotion? Does love expire, are we able to love more than one person, what roles do the heart and mind have in love, is it purely physiological, when should we welcome love, when should we refuse, is it possible to live without loving? Would love to read every one's thoughts..

This is almost like asking what’s the meaning of life. lol
I think oftentimes, IMO, love is difficult to explain and put parameters on.

@SW-User but not impossible?
SW-User
@msdistant why try and establish parameters for Love though?
msdistant · 26-30, F
@SW-User not establishing parameters, that would mean placing limitations, which I don't agree with, however we as people deserve to make experience intelligible by applying concepts and categories.

@SW-User I don't wish to narrow or definitively rule out how love works, I want to grasp the peculiarities of love and discover a comprehensive literary theory of loves paradigm

@msdistant for me, rather than try and understand what makes love work and behave the ways that it does.
I’d rather invest the energy into the behavioral love why’s of the person

@SW-User I see what you mean but that sounds like a set up for love disaster 🤣 or success
SW-User
@msdistant let me expound on that
IF I so choose to want to give that energy
lol
