Have you been in love, how did you experience it

Lots of different definitions out there exploring what love looks and feels like, is it the most powerful human emotion? Does love expire, are we able to love more than one person, what roles do the heart and mind have in love, is it purely physiological, when should we welcome love, when should we refuse, is it possible to live without loving? Would love to read every one's thoughts..

Love isn't a dream or a fantasy, it's love and loyalty to a real person with all their flaws and limits as well as their virtues...

And it's trusting them enough that you have given them the power to hurt you and you love them anyway...

It doesn't have to last forever to have been real while it did last ..

@msdistant More than one, and I treasure them all

@Rambler so how would you compare this notion with other forms of non romantic love? Are they as important or powerful? What are the differences
Rambler · M
@msdistant To me, other forms of non-romantic love --to me, that means within family--are similar except you didn't choose them and they don't end, they are an obligation in a different way. Blood is loyal in other words..

@Rambler very good understanding.. hmm so where does the link to principles/concepts and romantic relationships come in? Are we naturally inclined to form trust and loyalty with those that aren't family

@msdistant ah... there is the mystery of love
