Do you know any kids who get the belt from the parents?

Thank you, Lawrence18, for your reply. I hope you did not think I was being rude about your parents. I'd respectfully say, though, that whatever the appearances you are not 13. Perhaps I expressed myself badly because I know how much a belt hurts and did not like the idea of you getting it. I want to say something about it being good to love your parents, but cannot think of a sentence that would not sound patronising.
