It would depend on what the subject was. Virginia was blamed for much of the unrest which began the Civil War. Illinois was at fault for sending Abraham Lincoln to the White House. Just to name two.

No.number #1 was three years older than me, making him 19. Current wife #2 is thirteen years my junior. She is 50 and he was 30. I had no use for her after I heard in a roundabout way she wondered what he looked like without clothes - the first time they met(!) And she was a friend of #1.

I agree, Tennessee always volunteers to start the arguments @Waymore
it seemed like it must have been alabama there for a while, if SW posts were any indicator.

At the time of the Civil War, South Carolina and Virginia led the list of starting wars. South Carolina was of the first to break away. Alabama came into the picture later.

At 19, I had to be. But #1 kept telling my brother about her first husband and how she "hated" him, and he "wanted to help her". But once she was divorced and she began running around with him, then married, she got bored being married and began chasing other boyfriends. Her first husband would track her down (they had a 7-year-old daughter together) and want to get her back. God, it was a mess back then.
