I Don't Like Seeing A Friend Hurting

The End Of Heartache... I don't like seeing a friend hurting, because in turn it causes me to hurt too. I have no problem sharing the pain with my friends, lightening their load so to speak. But it destroys me. I can't stop myself from experiencing their pain as I would my own. I blame it on my sensitivity to the emotions of others. I just can't allow the pain of others to destroy me. It nearly did a few years ago.

The only solution I have been able to come up with is to help them. If I help them get rid of their pain, their pain will stop hurting me. At least that is the way I see it. It will be the end of heartache.
