Is it better to be the oldest, youngest or someplace in the middle?

Being the only child is the worst. The parents focus ALL of the their expectations on you.

@Autumnlover coming from a large family that always sounded fun till heard more from an only child friend...and your points also...hard to imagine no siblings.

@Autumnlover Sometimes they want to live through you and correct bad choices they made the first time around. Other times they just leave you alone to just Do It Yourself. In my case the latter as a kid, the former as an adult parent. I really enjoyed the outdoors and scouting the second time around.
