I Want to Know What You Think

A tribal woman has a young child, but his Father is elsewhere. The woman works as hard as anyone else in the tribe to provide for herself and her child.

A man in the tribe with no family to provide for knows this about her. Being a fisherman, one day he offers her a fish. This is the only exchange between them.. he simply has more fish than he needs and asks if he can give her one.

The woman provides for her family, but she could really use this food.

Should she take the fish? Or is there more involved?

I'd hope she wouldn't let the suspicion and calculation of befores and elsewheres spoil an act of generosity. What if she sours his taste for giving?
