I Just Have To Say

Why are people so easily offended? Like if a white Caucasian person wears dreads or if someone use chopsticks or something similar to tie his/her hair up? It's not necessarily racist, maybe someone likes it that way, maybe it's practical. And shouldn't that mean that person obviously like that culture?
I know this will have a lot of hate, but I just can't understand it.
