Is it better to be quiet about your suicidal intentions, or open with them?

the ultimate decision is yours, no amount of drugs or therapists can help you till you decide to try at living life

It is better to be open about it.
Yet i have a friend on the opposite side of the world that tells me their suicidal thoughts. I listen....but theres no more i can do....and it weighs very heavy on me. He tells me he has nobody else to talk to and when he disappears for days...i dunno if hes alive or dead. I want to be there for him....but wish he had someone at least in his own country he could talk to as i cannot help him seek help thousands of miles away.
Open. Silence can kill.

Better for who?

If you’re willing to take a step to talk to someone AND listen... talk to as many people as you can.

Its very easy to say ..open ..but if was so easy to open and talk about them why will you get them at first place?
Definitely open. If I hadn't been open about mine I'd have done it.

One needs to express themselves if you wish not to become repressed

quiet. u mention it once and then it goes on a medical record. you'd be surprised what problems that could cause you down the line. more so if there was an attempt.

heck some places it can even make you worse off financially because now you owe a hospital for medical bills.

Best is to not have them in the first place and be able to divert the thoughts
