You have come to a false conclusion a man alone walking along the beach is not creepy having no friends is understandable when you devoted your life to being a single parent. Go out be more social I hope you make some good friends!

Men who hike alone is not creepy. There are plenty of Facebook meetups where you can join people with similar interests. I’d start there but it’s like dating... just have to find the right group for you. Start by searching groups that do what you like doing the most.
