How bad can things get for Man Utd?

The problems mount and their being twelth in the premiership doesn't feel like a fluke.

They are one of the richest clubs in the world so surely there should be a solution but what can they do?

There is no easy fix , the problem is systemic.

1. They need to get shot of Solskjaer or risk finding themselves (incredibly)in a relegation scrap.

2. They need to get rid of Ed Woodward and find a proactive chief executive. (One with a basic knowledge of football matters would help.)

3. They need new owners. Every Utd fan's worst fears about the Glazers have been confirmed. They are quite happy managing this drift just as long as the cash keeps rolling in , and that isn't going to change any time soon with ever increasing tv rights and sponsorships.

My heart bleeds for them.

@RodionRomanovitch Chelsea and Arsenal are a long way behind the big two but both seem to have some kind of plan and are both getting a bit better. As you say, the problems at United are systemic. They are at least three years away from building a side to challenge for the title and that would be three years of getting all their decisions right.

Change manager..I never thought he was good enough and was shocked that he won a lot of his first games...I think the players were trying for him . Once he signed a contract, everything changed and his inexperience showed through and I think he lost the dressing room.....they need a new successful manager....
