I Graduated From High School

I just graduated earlier today 😀🎓! No more high school 😢. I feel happy and sad at the same time haha. I didn't cry like I thought I would, but I did bawl my eyes out on the bus on Wednesday, which was the last day with my favorite teacher in my favorite class. It seemed like it was all happening so fast. And I was so nervous walking up the stage! It's like you're fine sitting down but when you're about to walk up there it just hits you. My extended family didn't get to watch, as the live broadcast didn't seem to be working, but it was great texting them all afterward. It took forever to do my hair last night and this morning and I got little sleep, so I had a hard time staying awake ( up until we gave one particular student a standing ovation), which is embarrassing. Afterward we went to Denny's and I loved walking in there with my gown. I know it's just high school but I'm so proud of my diploma. I feel kind of emotional writing this haha. One stage down, and next up is college! I'm not completely sure how it's gonna go from here ( my first plan didn't exactly work out in time but I've come up with a new one for now and hopefully it'll all work out) but I'm excited (and nervous) to see where it takes me ☺. Wish me luck! Classof2017.

Are you starting college in the fall?

Yes, community college

Good idea, usually less expensive and gives you 1/2 a bachelor's degree for far less cost.

@samueltyler2: Yes, I planned to go to university straight away but didn't have money for the admission. But I now think this a better decision, and I hope it works out. Thank you.
