I spent my day in reflection. Mostly by myself. I decided I really like jazz and swing and big band. I also decided that I’m returning to grace, to gather my power, dress up and show up regardless of how hard things get and may get, I’m going to do absolutely everything for myself and for my loved ones. My strength is in the doing, the loving and caring, the living and the compassion.
Sounds like you've got a good spirit about your approach. My go-to is the cross... and there are storms, some so great I don't see how I get through but I do remember that night I trusted in Jesus to save for what I deserved and I remember the days after where Jesus started making himself known in my life and telling what to do, what not to do, and telling me what he's going to do. If i forget that, I would struggle to make it when it seems like the whole world turns their back on you.
@MartinTheFirst Yeah... it may not be much, but sometimes those words touch someone else's life in need of repair and that still counts for something. 🙄
