Vitamin D Deficiency?

My doctor tested me for a vitamin D deficiency and my levels are extremely low. I am on a strong supplement to bring the levels back up and she said it will bring my energy levels up. If anything I am more tired. Has anyone had similar problems with vitamin D?

Most people have vitamin d deficiency.

Which is silly cause your body makes it if you get just a little bit of sunlight.

Take a long walk around the block during the day every day an you’ll feel better while also creating vitamin D.

We all tend to be low/insufficient, especially in winter. Keeping it monitored and supplementing at occurrence is the only fix, afaik.

I tested as low normal a few years ago. I now take a D3 supplement...when I remember. I am also anemic, so I was told to eat beef by my doctor.
Yes, I have low vitamin D levels. I had immune and hormone issues. Taking prescription strength vitamin D has helped me immensely.

I have very low vitamin D which led to sore joints and fatigue. I've been taking vit d pills and it has helped.

OK I guess only time will tell. I guess it is some other med that is making me so tired. Seemed to have started with the Vitamin D but maybe I am wrong.
