how do you remove something from google search results that you were tagged in?
for example you changed your username and was tagged in a post but your old username still shows up on google

You can't. Why would you want to? Search engines can only index what is there. They don't know that you changed your user name on xyz.com, so if xyz.com doesn't show your new user name on old post a search engine has no way of knowing.
