Hate Crime volunteer. Has anyone on here ever done this role...

I did a lot of work in this area with the met police post Stephen Lawrence Murder/McPherson report and during Tony Blaires Respect Agenda years.

Every year, on my birthday, I take time to Remember Sophie Lancaster. We share the same birth date. Sophie was tragically killed because she was a goth and her Mum, Sylvia, will one day succeed in her bid to ensure legislation is passed on a national basis so that hate crimes against people of alternative lifestyle/subculture are regarded as hate crimes

RIP Sophie.

I remember watching a TV documentary on Sophie and her boyfriend, very sad case. I’ve applied for the role and will wait to see if it progresses. Thanks for your reply@Ironicman
