When you fall in love with the wrong person... You know you just don't match, it doesn't work... but the feelings are still there... Are there ways to stop falling in love?
If it's the wrong person, the best thing to do is cut any communication with them, distract your mind with different activities you enjoy, and let it die naturally.

I think it's just a case of allowing yourself to heal. Grieve for what you'll never have. And cut that person out of your life. That bit goes without saying, though.
