Blended Family question...

Can a relationship last when each parent dislikes some of the personality traits of each other's kids? He took my kid out with his kid, came home and complained about my kid who is doing THE EXACT same annoying things that his kids do! He wanted to send my kid to his room and said my kid was pissing him off. Yikes! 😰

all dads love kids equally ... but all do not always know how to show it.

I love kids ... have spent years working with kids ... always wanted my own ... but, I treated all those kids like my own

We haven't had these issues, so I can't speak from my own experiences. I just wanted to say I feel for you and hope you guys can work this out. Maybe after you both cool down for awhile you can have a talk.

It sure is! A situation I don't see a solution to. He think my kid is a little shit and I think his kids behave badly too. I admit my son behaves badly sometimes but I don't think he can see it in his own kids...@Starcrossed

Yes you make a good point. My bf lives with us. My son is 6, his son is 9 and his daughter is 11. His daughter has a lot of "issues"his son has ADHD and does not take his meds when his dad has him.@Cutiepi23
