Look at it this way; you'll have more money on your next payday. Once, I worked 8 months straight, ten hour shifts. I didn't mind the bigger checks, LOL!!

ahh...My first year in the packing house, in 1989 I worked 362 days which included double shifts on Saturdays and Sundays. I was rolling in the green at the end of that year.
