I like the smaller mom and pop chains. I like to get corn beef hash if I hear it's good, or a nice omelet with sausage patties.😋 Oh, and don't forget the rye toast!

For breakfast I am generally not a fan of chains. Almost always go to a local diner and usually get eggs, breakfast meat, potatoes and toast.

We don't call them mom and pop restaurants but independents are always better. A good breakfast has to have eggs and bacon, everything else is variable.

I miss ranch house.
The city chased out burger king.

Two great eat'em up joints nearby.

Reputable mom & pops locally, but if I'm on the road I'll look to Perkins (unless a friendly local points me to their favorite mom & pops). 😊

depends where I am, where I live, I go to the "little guy" the independent places, but when I'm on the road and the chain restaurants are all I can find...

whatever I have a coupon for...there's a local joint that's an hour away, that I LOVE! Plus, they give out BOGO coupons weekly!

Mom and pop restaurants seem to have better tasting food and have a better atmosphere. They win hands down.
