My healthy breakfast. What do you have for breakfast?

The reason I am asking this at quarter past 4, is I just did my mixes for grains and toppings for my hot cereal. I make enough for two weeks and just have to add liquid and stir when I am having it.

In sealable sandwich bag, combine;
I tablespoon of each

HOT CEREAL

BARLEY FLAKES
RYE FLAKES
QUICK OATS
SPELT FLAKES
QUICK OATS
OAT BRAN
BUCKWHEAT GROATS
BULGUR WHEAT
CHIA SEEDS
HEMP HEARTS

Just add 1 1/2 cups of whichever liguid you prefer.
Water, almond milk, coconut milk, and so on.

Heat until liquid is reduced.....
Add a teaspoon of honey, a mashed banana, berries

In second smaller bags
1 to 2 teaspoons of each;

TOPPINGS;

RAISINS
PEANUTS
SEASMA SEEDS, TOASTED
PUMPKIN SEEDS
SUNFLOWER SEEDS

Gotta love bulk stores that sell organic!

In addition to this I also have an egg, and usually a smoothie I will have made the night before and refrigerated.

Don't know why I am telling you all of this. I just like torturing you into reading it. Lol. Joking.

my favourite breakfast is yogurt, berries, and granola. Course I do love the whole bacon and egg thing, but I have issues with my stomach, and yeah.. something light and nutritious to start is nice and easy on the gut, and the granola, yogurt , berry mix totally does it for me.

@CassandraFemale17: yum ! I could eat that

@Chernobylplayground: Lol. It's nice to cook them too. Especially when there are others with you. It's nice doing it for someone who will really like it.

@CassandraFemale17: I enjoy making a big breakfast on Sunday mornings ...I do it every Sunday for my hubby and son they really look forward to it
I had white bread with strawberry jam and some apple cider vinegar.
CassandraFemale17 · 26-30, F
Hmmmm ditch the white bread.
I have a glass of water with 1oz apple cider vinegar, a half lemon, and usually some chilli flakes at some point during the day. So good for you.
Yeah, that's not my usual, I usually eat whole wheat or oat, but just ran out of them. Yes, and some flaxseed meal during lunch. It's good to have that vinegar in the morning. Good detox.

I am going to make me some overnight oatmeal. This morning I had an egg white omelette with kale, Swiss cheese and a slice of turkey bacon.
CassandraFemale17 · 26-30, F
That sounds really delicious. Love kale!
I just have a bottle of water.
@CassandraFemale17: Yeah I do what's called intermittent fasting so I usually eat all my days meals between 1-7 pm. In the beginning it was a little hard but it's been a few months and it really feels like the right way to eat but of course everybody is different and has different nutritional requirements
CassandraFemale17 · 26-30, F
@dreamingofoz: I have never heard of that. But I know I do study better and perform in class better when I have eaten, and then I am not consumed with thinking about food. And I generally don't eat after 7pm, so my intermittent fast is twice what yours is. Mine is 12 hours, which sounds hardly intermittent at all. Lol
@CassandraFemale17: Well I eat from 1pm to 7pm then don't eat again till 1 pm the next day so the fast is actually closer to 18 hours. What I believe happens after a certain amount of time your body goes into a ketogenic state. I rarely ever feel hungry and I'm more energetic then I've ever been before. The first week was honestly really hard while my body was adjusting but now yeah I have to remind myself to eat sometimes haha.

I eat oatmeal almost everyday. I put cinnamon in the water to boil and top with brown sugar. Real oats , not that instant stuff.
Zonuss · 41-45, M
Excellent breakfast there. I had oatmeal with eggs and turkey sausage. ☺
CassandraFemale17 · 26-30, F
Never tried turkey sausage. It kind of sounds gross to me, but it must be nice or you wouldn't eat it, right?

I eat very little meat, but I'm not a vegetarian.

And yes, I love a healthy breakfast
Zonuss · 41-45, M
@CassandraFemale17: It tastes the same. I like bacon too. Ham.
