If you are assisting the democrats to win the next election, what advice would you give them

be honest, talk to ALL of the people instead of preaching to your base..
find someone intelligent and articulate who isn't a career politician..

don't attack your opponents character, attack his policies and record.

They can start by quitting that guilting-people-into-the-vote crap. If I don't vote their way, I'm such and such? ...that's a really good way to alienate voters. Also, a lot of people see through the other manipulation tactics.

Clean house. Get rid of all the ancient dead wood that is killing the party. That and time to review your policies. They have gone too far left. A wise man once stated that he regularly checked to see which way the people were going then ran to be in front of them for he was their leader. IOW the democrats have lost their followers.

Find a better candidate.

don't cheat, because you will get caught like last time

Don't underestimate Trump and don't assume that just because certain states have gone Democrat for years that they always will.

Say the true. What happens is that it would be like telling them don't speak.
I'm sure if a politician would ever say the truth and only the truth, (s)he didn't win but at least, (s)he can go with his chin up and who knows perhaps the example spreads.

"The things you're doing and have been doing since Bill Clinton got elected? Stop doing them."

Just enjoy the show and try to protect the citizenry's right to fairly priced health care/treatment.

Don't assume the public do as the media encourages them.

Take gender out of the agenda ....
