First of all this is the 21st century and secondly according to Johns Hopkins University there is no death spike in 2020. The death count is up from 2019 which was down from 2018. There is always an annual fluctuation. 2020 death rate is well within the norms of previous years across ALL the age groups. For some reason covid case counts have resulted in a dramatic drop in heart disease deaths according to the study.
