Question can an ordained priest run for President

The Constitution does allow clergy to become president, however the Roman Catholic Church forbids them to run for elected office because it would entail participating in the exercise of civil power. On the other hand, Baptist ministers like Jesse Jackson and Mike Huckabee (who are also politicians) did run for president.
