Will China massacre Hong Kong protesters? 🤔

China is all about FACE, and the protestors are removing FACE from China. They are also providing a bad example for the mainland Chinese viewing the protests.

The Chinese HAVE to stop the protestors. Military forces are moving in. Protestors need to protect themselves and stay home.

Those who do not will probably be hurt. As a US citizen, watching the protests and the riots, I was put in mind of Anti-Fa breaking windows and setting fires in Berkeley, California, but the violence of the Hong Kong protesters was worse. Peaceful protests are one thing, but this is no longer peaceful.

I’m afraid that’s where this is headed. Citizens clashing with authoritarians usually don’t fare very well in the end.

Would you really want to know the answer to that?

Hope not. ☹

Maybe not massacre but certainly beat, detain and and imprison for not bowing down to the authoritarians.

That's the mostly outcome given how afraid of China most of the world is.

I honestly can’t talk about this anymore, it hits too close to home.

They don’t respect human life.
