Why would someone comment on your post 'blocked' before blocking you?

I believe that comments on posts made before blocking remain on the post for others to see, whereas just blocking you would be an invisible action that would not have that public smack in the face sort of impact.

Yes, I think it's to make an impact. Like to say "your behavior is making me block you, so maybe you'll think twice next time". It's kind of petty. 😅
