Are Hollywood celebrities out of touch douche bags?

Word on the street is Mark Hamil said he wouldn't come to my state until our we did more for the cause of gun control. What's funny, is that I don't disagree with that inherently and think you could possibly make a case for gun control. but the arrogance of thinking your presence is such a fucking gift to society that we should change our laws just to be around you... is so incredibly smug and I'm baffled as I ponder what experience could possibly make someone think they are so great.
