Why fish on Good Friday?

To help the fishermen make a living the pope decreed that people should sustain from eating meat and eat fish during lent.

Didja know... thanks to the "no meat on Fridays" edict the court of Henry 8th had frog on the menu as they were classified as fish.

It's believed that when you eat meat, it's being disrespectful for Jesus's death.. Or something like that
