What is the general opinion of Westerners who go to India and, temporarily at least, totally adapt the culture? Are people happy that outsiders are getting down with it, rolling their eyes or mostly ignore them and get about their business?

@ineedadrink it's cool - i mean i don't really go whole bananas over it or all "hey don't try to be like us!" to each their own - if they like my place then yay - and i hope you had a good time ^^

others too are similar i guess - although for a long time and upto a while ago people who run taxis and autos and shops would generally try to charge them higher prices than normal - they thought it'd be easy given well dollar's pretty strong and the westerner's won't realize it cause it's still cheap for them - but lately with Uber and Ola and other app based stuff coming - it's getting more standard so i hope the tourists do know that
